The main asset of the timber and composite system is that it essentially is made up of an aluminium core thus giving it great strength and durability throughout. All hinges within the door are fitted to a full height aluminium profile for strength and longevity. Other timber systems are hinged straight into the timber which will soon lose its thread and cause the door to cockle and fail, this common problem with timber doors is completely avoided thanks to this patented design.

The timber is triple laminated and cross grained thus preventing the system from warping and twisting. Timber of course lives and breathes, it moves, expands and contracts however the genius of the system means that is has been designed with expansion tolerances built in and without detriment to the weathering of the doors. The system is also fully adjustable coming complete with adjustable hinges allowing for easy and slight adjustments on site to assist with the doors performance.

The system can be offered as a bottom running system or top running depending on the locations requirements. Unlike other systems on the market the two systems can offer individual panels larger than most aluminium systems, with a maximum width off 1100mm and heights as tall as 2800mm.

The composite SL67 boasts a ventilated aluminium cladding on the external face creating the benefit of the natural warm appearance on the properties internal, and the strong maintenance free aluminium on the doors external.

There are a range of hardwood and softwood options available for both products as well as various finishes and colours. The timber doors can be manufactured with sightlines smaller than the majority of aluminium systems available on the market or should you require a more traditional appearance the doors can be manufactured with thicker profiles and kick plates.
